Within the third edition of the Believe Festival – Tools Against Violence, the Minerva Anti-Violence Centre, run by the On the Road social cooperative, is organising a training cycle dedicated to all professionals working with women survivors of gender-based violence.

Entitled “Out of the Frame – Tools, Histories and Practices for Women’s Self-Determination”, the course will take place over three days: 3 October, 24 October and 21 November 2026, at Villa Luigi, Via Casone 2, Martinsicuro (TE).

Male violence against women is a complex phenomenon, rooted in power imbalances, gender norms, and cultural and social dynamics. To effectively counter it, specific skills, gender-based approaches, practical tools, and a deep understanding of the various dimensions of the phenomenon are essential.

“Out of the Frame” has been designed precisely to offer service operators, healthcare, social, educational and third-sector professionals multidisciplinary content that reflects this complexity and supports concrete practices of help, listening, and accompaniment.

The course is accredited with the Social Workers’ Professional Order of any region for a total of 16 credits: 12 professional credits and 4 ethics/professional development credits (ID 110930), and with 17 ECM credits, event number 4951.
