ALBERTO ANDREANI

Alberto Andreani has 35 years of experience in the Italian law enforcement sector, during which he was tasked with the management of investigations of transnational organized crime networks and terrorism and their co-ordination with other international agencies. He is experienced in the use of modern investigative techniques that have proved effective in identifying transnational organized groups, monitoring their activities, collecting evidence, making arrests. He has also international investigative experience acquired with the UN missionMission La Mission è la definizione dei processi operativi attraverso cui raggiungere obiettivi strategici in Kosovo (UNMIK) as a member of the Investigation Pillar of the Kosovo Organized Crime Bureau and as Criminal Intelligence Analyst within the Central Intelligence Unit. From 2006 to 2009 he coordinated the Human Trafficking Prevention programmes at the International Organization for Migration in Moscow. Currently, Andreani is the Programme and Capacity Building Officer at the Office of the OSCE Special Representative and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings.
