Since 1994, On the Road has been standing by people living in vulnerable and complex situations, offering free and professional assistance to those in need. For nearly three decades, we have been a trusted resource for thousands of individuals facing significant daily challenges: migrants, women survivors of male violence, members of the queer community experiencing discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity, the homeless, those in economic hardship, and individuals trafficked and exploited for purposes of sexual, labor, or begging activities.

Within our facility, we offer a range of active services to provide practical solutions:

• Low-threshold service desks
• Legal, psychological, and health counseling desks
• Rooms designed for conducting important interviews in a safe and protected environment
• A training room offering free qualification, retraining, and refresher courses:
  • For young people seeking to obtain a professional qualification in a specific field
  • For workers needing to update their skills
  • For unemployed individuals aiming to retrain for new or improved job opportunities

With the rising cost of living and operational expenses, we are facing economic challenges that make it difficult to sustain the quality and continuity of the services we have provided over the years. We have always been dedicated to continuously improving our services in the areas where we operate, striving to support people facing marginalization and vulnerability.

We have launched a fundraising campaign with a clear goal: to raise 33,000 euros to install an 18 kW photovoltaic system at our headquarters in San Benedetto del Tronto, Marche, Italy.

For us, installing photovoltaic panels represents a practical and innovative solution that will enhance energy efficiency, reduce the financial burden on the cooperative, and provide greater financial flexibility to reinvest in additional activities supporting vulnerable individuals, while further improving performance, commitment, and social impact.
